>> voltaires departure has nothing to do with dells decline

That's for sure. The interesting thing is that he saw it coming before anyone else in the Dellhead crowd, and was roasted for daring to make that call.

>> Voltaire can be found at his OWN thread "voltaires porch"

A very popular place these days. He's over there because he tired of the bickering on this thread, not because anyone booted him off this one.

btw, you forgot to use one of those apostrophe thingies that Mq is so fond of between the "e" and the "s" in Voltaire's. They are used to show a possessive relationship, as in "Margin Mike's $10,000,000 portfolio". We can't have folks thinking that Americans are poorer grammarians than the Kiwis, can we?

>> 3)the offending remarks were not the issue, the voodo was.

Voodo and many other forms of religion gained popularity because they allowed people a way to explain things they didn't have the background to understand. To a caveman, a Bic lighter would represent voodo. Branding something voodo just because you can't figure it out is an admission of limited ability to reason on the part of the finger pointer.

Try to resist the urge to give the finger to someone who's exited gracefully, Mike. Read some of Mq's posts and see how it's done with class (and apostrophes).
