So, Grace, are going to hold?

I've been a subscriber to ATHM for a month now, and I love it. Hard to imagine having to go back to a dial up.

Reminds me when CNBC talking heads kicked ORCL in May. Takes confidence to go against the talking heads. I suppose the revenue growth, profitabilty, and increased subscribers had no merit in their discussion.

This is TJ's fault. He hasn't offered analysts a reason to see beyond the exclusivity agreements - maybe there are none.

I was disturbed by TJ's answer to the question "What impact does the AOL/TWX merger have on ATHM".

Message 12583714

His answer was none, and then he went on to justify this by speaking in terms of nonoverlapping territories. My impression is that he is not thinking beyond the exclusivity relationships. No vision was displayed.

He had a perfect opportunity to define ATHM's role in the future expansion of broadband and instead he spoke of territories. I was very disappointed.

Grace,

That little quip just made my day, thanks. I may quote you on this:

"They saw the AOL/TWX deal as a mild positive. But the negative was basically that the exclusivity agreements run out in two years. So much for internet time."

This is merely a coincidental, albeit a poetic, offset to how AOL itself must now be perceiving Time.
