I use ameritrade. Have not used after hours yet. But the rules are it must be a limit order. It must be placed in after hours market. There is a higher trading price than during normal hours. After hour order do not carry over into the next day. They die..... Order placed after the close do not go into after hours market unless you open that window and place and after hour trade with a limit order at a higher ameritrade process price... Now that I have confused the issue more. Aren't we lucky to be in emc.
