This was the first year in awhile I lost a few pesos at the track. My handicapping was very sharp except for the triple crown races. I had a number of heart stopping losses at the wire for big sums and another group of seconds at huge prices. It's one of those things. The number of bets I make in a year is not high enough to guarantee profits even if I am making good value judgments on all of them. Most of the horses I play are lower percentage types. (live horses at a price) And I still make emotional mistakes from time to time just like in my investing. Wayne
