I think the old saying about not putting all your eggs in one basket is a wise one. I invest big in about five stocks at any given time. While I would never meet Bob Brinker's definition of diversification, I have tried not to load too much in any one stock at any one time. SYCD has been somewhat of an exception for me, but this is truly a quality company that I did a lot of dd on.

I have also been burned by misinformation coming from CEOs and the internet, but I am learning to read people better as I go along. Also I never just assume that the information I get is factual. I try to verify information as much as possible. I have found that taking an active roll in dd by calling companies and companies doing business with companies I invest in is important. Also you can't just accept as factual the dd other folks have shared on the internet. You have to verify it for yourself.

I don't know how the reporting requirements are going to affect trading in the low priced pennies I was talking about earlier. Everyone knows going in that these are extremely speculative. I think that even if many of these stocks go pink, they will continue to play their little games because there are a lot of suckers out there ready and willing to give their money away.
