It will come as a great surprise to millions of elderly Medicare beneficiaries that they have standard dental coverage. If your group health plan pays less than Medicare you are one in a million. Check the facts and you will find that Medicare has many more restrictions and prohibitions than the average group insurance plan, has no end to the patient co-pay, provides no standard drug benefit, among other shortcomings.

This is easily 10K per year for everyone I know...

$4,501.20 is the max for 1999 SS taxes. One would need $379,228 in income to generate $10K in total FICA tax.
