The rumor is that IBM will produce the chips. That would
add a veneer of "quality".

Anything that would lessen IBM's dependence on MSFT and
INTC probably interests them.

That's pretty funny. Why would Intel do that? They can't even keep up with their own demand, apparently. However, they are right across the street...
