I have said the valuation of JDSU is founded on the greater fools theory. I have said that since the p/e went beyond 50, I personally would not purchase more. I think your focus on the (historic) P/E will always lead you to believe JDSU is overvalued. IMHO you'll get a more accurate picture if you look at the PE/G (growth) or forward P/E. Given your opinion of the valuations, I doubt that JDSU will ever dip low enough that you will buy back. I suspect Feb will be your last shot at a better price. Just my 2½. P.S. FWIW, my recollection of your prior posts is that you sold some a while back, but have always maintained a long position, until now.
