You need to try the portal again. Re-enable the default browser or install the "new" @HOME 1.7 software. The default screen should be a tab delineated combination of Cox's local content (my MSO is AT&T) and @home's national content. The interface isn't bad, it's not great. Definitely comparable to AOL's interface.

Typcally, I use it to check weather forecasts or local stuff , so I leave this window enabled but minimized.
