They had an excellent facility for ice skating - and a very active ISIA chapter there. However, several years ago, they didn't offer the top quality skates, but I am sure they do now - with the growth of the sport worldwide. A lady came to our club to order skates and blades when she was visiting.

I remember well how much I longed for Mexican food when I was there. The closest I could get was a can of refried beans! <GGG>

You are right! I wouldn't recognize it.

We left when the Iranian crisis started. Americans were deemed to be targeted in the emirates because of the Iranian influence. But we really just found it a good excuse to come to the states and get established. Longggg time ago . . .
