I assume you know that the transaction figures you quoted are for paper transactions and therefore could not be used to assemble the 525 tonnes of physical gold that they would need to be delivered to satisfy the contracts. lbma.org.uk The figures include: * Loco London book transfers from one party in a Clearing Member's books to another party in the same Member's books or in the books of another Clearing Member. * Physical transfers and shipments by Clearing Members. * Transfers over Clearing Members' accounts at the Bank of England. Excluded are: * Allocations for Clearing Members where the sole purpose is for over-night credit. * Physical movements arranged by Clearing Members in locations other than London.
