Pretty funny !

Too bad it took AMD 1 1/2 years to get there - giving Intel enough time to take over the low end CPU market with their Celery chip !

In a moment of weakness I let myself believe that AMD could get to 400 MHz.

That was good of AMD to push Intel so that they could get fast enough to go after Sun and IBM. Sort of like a pacer in a horserace.
