ratan,

Hope you enjoy reading the manual. When you've done that, you'll see that the impact of political outcomes is not the domain of gorilla gaming. Those outcomes affect the environment in which all companies operate. Whether the ecnomic arena is good, bad, or indifferent, most of us around here prefer to own leading businesses playing royalty and gorilla games.

Guess he skipped the class where they covered JC having died 2000 years back.

But the word is that that was a temporary condition lasting only 3 days and that he otherwise lives forever, so maybe your concern about Bush is not valid on that point. I think that Bush may give you 1 or 2 other areas of concern though.

Ratan: Governor Bush was asked ,"who has been the most influential person in your life?" He answered Jesus Christ. There is no wrong answer. The question was not about who's been influential in society, politics, sports, etc, but rather in Bush's life PERSONALLY. He gave his answer, straightforwardly and it was his own personal answer - I doubt he'd have received near the criticism had he said Buddha. I would also dare to say one question about a foreign prime minister is hardly an adequate measure of his knowledge of the world. Mr Gore didn't even know the name of the Governor of Vermont or Virginia and he was in the state speaking at the time he was asked.

In any case TFM is not concerned with elections, Greenspan, or "Trading" mentality. It is strongly LTB&H. Welcome to the thread. I've read your posts with interest on other threads.

I am specially scared of Bush whose knowledge of the world is worse than an 8th grader and who, when asked, was the person he most admired in the last 100 years, answered 'Jesus Christ'

I'm pretty sure there was no time limit involved. Otherwise it would have been on every news show in New York for weeks.

When the candidates start talking about regulating the advance of technology, taxing it, funding it, etc, then I'll pay attention to my stocks. Until then, it's just noise.
