RE>>after the commandments and doctrines of men? << The Ten Commandments are not after the doctrines and commandments of men. They are the only part of the Bible God wrote with His own finger and Jesus said He would never ever change: Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. We are not Justified by the deeds of the Law but neither are we called to disobey...that is the false teaching of satan that he may bring a snare into the life of the believer and steal what God has given. Look at what Paul says.... all of the sentence and not just the part satan keeps quoting: Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. satan has Christians running around saying "we are not under the law" but with a twisted understanding!!! We are not under the Law as far as being justified before God for by Grace are we saved but we are called to sanctify ourselves and to obey God's Law. Jesus di not legalize sin... Look at what Paul says in the same book about the same subject: Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Take care James lest you become the "least" in the Kingdom of God: Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. I believe better things for you..
