I'm surprised, too, but there you are. I tend to devote my free intellectual time to reading about anthropology, history, linguistics, sociobiology, and stuff like that. The most recent addition to the stack on my bedside table is Farley Mowat's book about the pre-Viking explorations of North America, and before that I bought Procopius' Secret History of Byzantium. I am also interested in medicine, horticulture, and architecture, at present. Not Social Security, not much, really.
