I agree on Greenspan and his intentions to cooperate except I always take a different perspective "he had really metabolized the revolution that is occurring" his secret to our economy's success is to allow the shortend credit market to dictate monetary policy he has yet to contradict or fail to follow the TBill market he aint metabolizing nothing he is allowing the free market to metabolize big difference, and some regard it to be semantic I dont, since I witnessed Volker and Burns and their arrogant overrides which led to disasters back to present: shortend TBills are raising rates expect the Fed to raise in concert wait until the Fed governors retire, turnover, and are replaced huge debates will take place on inflation hawk stances gonna get wicked weird / Jim
