''Communications is rapidly becoming 50 percent of our business,' he said. ''Going forward all of our architectures in new designs will hae DSP architecture.'

Whoa!!! Hold on here, Wilf. If what you are saying is true, then one can expect explosive growth in the next two years at LSI. At the last three CCs, Wilf and company have always said that the breakdown in revenue among the six divisions is such that no one division exceeded twenty percent of the company's revenue. But now Wilf is saying the Telecom will be 50%. That means that Telecom alone would go from accounting for at most 420 million in sales to 1.6 billion in sales if Wilf "The Party Is About to Begin" is sincere in his prediction. Thus, holding all other divisions at even in terms of revenue growth, we can expect to see LSI to shortly hit 3.2 billion in revenue. Moreover, there is also explosive growth in storage components, networking and consumer goods, so that 1.6 billion is low if indeed Wilf's prediction is accurate.
