Tyco getting into act?

Just read that TYCO is laying its own undersea cable, and their Submarine Division has already started laying a line. Tyco will issue an IPO for this new venture.

If this crap keeps up, we may eventually HAVE overcapacity. Of course, GBLX could add more Perilli multiplexers and expand its own pipe. This would blow Tyco out of the water (pun intended).

*combined customer bases really erects some daunting barriers
to dominance...*

They already had the dominance . . . now they are basically unstoppable. The price to pay for JDSU shares is too high though. I am out of JDSU until earnings catch up with the valuation or the valuation comes back to a low earth orbit. Too many other good ideas that are far less expensive.
