By the way, how do you feel about Lucent right now. I have a feeling it's a huge buy.

I prefer Nortel as i feel it is on the move. Lucent is in the middle of an image change----from being a loser in the sense that they got the demand but could not execute. They are trying to project the winning image now with that announcement of supplying Tyco in their HUGE fibre optic project.
I have heard that LU's technology in other areas was not that great but i am not sure.
NT will have an easier time getting new clients as its image is changing to being a winner--even more so with the lucent profit warning.

Maybe Lucent is a good buy but it is not my investing style to go for a company that issues profit warning.

One of the few times (other than going with momentum), i have taken a chance in a troubled company (accounting problems or allegations)---TYCO. It should have a huge move up on its fibre optics news.

Looking to add more JDSU if it dips a bit---i doubt it will happen.

Not that you asked me, but I think Lucent is a good candidate to buy as long term calls (LEAP). It's going to sputter up and down before recovering. It's upside is not so great for it's price, but the upside compared to the price of an option is good. (And if it really pulls itself together just exercise the option next year for an immediate capital gain candidate).
