Mr. Eric Apps reports
Angoss has made KnowledgeSTUDIO for Siebel, an integrated data mining solution for the Siebel Systems eBusiness and Siebel 99 enterprise application suites.
Users of Siebel Systems applications can now harness KnowledgeSTUDIO, the industry's leading data mining solution, to promote more effective one to one customer interactions, increase revenues, and reduce the cost and risk of sales, marketing and customer support initiatives.
KnowledgeSTUDIO integrates seamlessly with Siebel 99 and Siebel eBusiness application suites, enabling Siebel Systems users to explore, visualize and act on customer data captured through all of Siebel's customer touching applications, as well as data sourced by Siebel Systems applications from other operational systems and external sources. The KnowledgeSTUDIO SDK also enables the dynamic deployment and continuous refinement of data mining predictive models developed in KnowledgeSTUDIO to non-technical users of Siebel sales force automation, marketing, call centre, service and other enterprise application modules quickly and cost-effectively.
ANGOSS customers taking advantage of the integration of KnowledgeSTUDIO with Siebel Systems can achieve immediate payback on their technology investments through:
higher success rates in qualifying sales prospects, maximizing opportunities for closing sales;
closing the loop on their customer marketing and personalization initiatives to maximize returns achieved per marketing dollar expended;
delivery of more tailored product and service offers geared to the unique needs and requirements of individual customers;
enhanced customer loyalty by anticipating and responding to customer needs based on the continuous analysis of customer behavioural and transactional information captured across Siebel Systems' customer touching applications suites;
better management of customer risk by identifying defection and other risk signals to enable proactive intervention at each point in the prospecting, selling and customer management processes.
introductory pricing for KnowledgeSTUDIO for Siebel starts at $75,000 for the first eBusiness or Siebel 99 application module selected. Pricing includes initial training, integration and support services for five marketing and sales analysts and includes client-server KnowledgeSTUDIO licences for Windows NT and SUN Solaris client server environment. Run-time deployments of KnowledgeBuilder, a fully customizable intelligent agent for closed loop enterprise relationship management developed by ANGOSS for use with Siebel System and other ActiveX compliant customer relationship management suites, are separately priced.
The announced availability of KnowledgeSTUDIO for Siebel follows the entry by ANGOSS Software into the Siebel Systems alliance partners program in December, 1999. An outline of the integrated offering and key business benefits of the integrated solution can be found in the company's white paper entitled "Closing the Loop on CRM: Dynamic Enterprise Relationship Management."
"We are pleased to have been accepted into the Siebel Systems Alliance Partners program. We think KnowledgeSTUDIO offers powerful, complementary functionality to Siebel Systems users and our integrated solution demonstrates the power and flexibility of the KnowledgeSTUDIO framework," commented ANGOSS president, Eric Apps.
Siebel Systems is widely regarded as having the most comprehensive enterprise relationship management suite on the market, with flexible, standards based applications spanning all major customer touch points, including sales force automation, marketing and campaign management systems, and field and call centre based service and support functions. "By integrating powerful, proven and affordable KnowledgeSTUDIO data mining components into the market's leading CRM solution, we offer a fairly compelling value proposition to our customers and to other Siebel Systems users looking to add state-of-the art closed loop data mining capability right into their sales, marketing, service and other customer touching business areas," Mr. Apps commented.
"There is a natural fit between enterprise relationship management application suites and data mining technology at both business and technical levels," commented ANGOSS vice-president, technology, Ken Ono. "KnowledgeSTUDIO is a natural fit with the Siebel Systems architecture. As Siebel users start to explore extending the Siebel framework with data mining intelligence in 2000 and beyond, KnowledgeSTUDIO will be the natural choice. When best of breed data mining solutions and CRM application suites can be combined like this, customers can achieve significant and enduring competitive advantage in today's customer wars. We are excited about having the opportunity to extend our technology in this way."
