Dave, I agree that the affiliate networks are going to be quite powerful. In fact, I actually consider the Affiliate Network Aggregators to be the serial killer stocks of this next eleg-up.

Subject 29395

The Affiliate Networks are the infomediaries of the entire e-tail channel. Thus, these guys will get a % of the entire electronic distribution channel. On average they are getting about 2-3% of the gross sales price, so in many cases we are talking dollars and not pennies. I attended a Linkshare symposium a few months ago, and the footprint of the early sales data was extremely impressive.

Initially, these Affiliate Network Aggregators started out focusing on the consumer channel. But guess what?...they will also be doing....(drum roll).... B2B! I mean , it's like my eyes roll back into my head when I consider that they could get a % of the B2B distribution channel too.Yeah babee!

This niche is going to be a virtual MONSTER. Back in the summer I bought ICGE on the first day BECAUSE of Linkshare. And of course, I bought BFRE on the first day.
I think the media is still in the black-hole dark about what these guys are doing. Even Steve Harmon is missing the boat (sorry Steve!). :-)
