dip 50 pts
A lot of people lost out by selling JDSU when they bought the last company (OLCI?) and missed a great run. I don't know if the same ones got back in, but it's common for people to try try again, and they won't want to miss out again. Be quick, if it dips dramaticly it won't last long.

Re: Dip
I'm with you. Got out of ATHM and into JDSU and CMGI awhile back and am glad I did.

Good plan Venkie. Any weakness tomorrow will be short lived. Last year around this time in January, JDS fitel and Uniphase announced their merger, to create a powerhouse in their industry. JDSU stock went up ten fold in 1999 following that announced merger. And now one year later, like clock work ETEK is added to the group. This should be good ! JDSU a "fiber optic" Gorilla in the making!

Venkie,

I don't think there will be any significant dip tomorrow. When JDSU bought OCLI it ran up instead, with OCLI.
