Jim,

Is it possible that NHLT could be put on your GOLDEN LISTS. The reorg is expected to be finalized by March 31st, will probably happen before then. It has a specific date from the last news release, and great potential.

Thanks, Pat

NP says chairman believes Call-Net undervalued

The National Post reports in its Tuesday, Jan. 18, edition that Call-Net Enterprises may be sold, but not at anywhere near its current stock market price, says the chairman of the long-distance phone company. The National Post's Michael Lewis writes that Lawrence Tapp describes Call-Net as "way undervalued." He says he would not be willing to accept an offer in the $12 to $15 per share range, the amount of the rumoured bid. Call-Net's widely traded Class B stock advanced 80 cents to $7 in heavy trading yesterday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Tapp says he is unaware of any bid on the table. He says no special board meeting has been called to consider an offer. Mr. Tapp says if a bid was tendered he would know about it. Mr. Tapp says Call-Net has not dismissed the possibility of maintaining the company as an independent concern. He says the board is "taking a hard look" at selling non-core real estate assets, and its fibre optic network in the United States, while focusing on turning Canadian operations around.
