2+2>5 - but will the market see it that way? I would expect we will see some swings in JDSU and may be able to pick it up twenty points lower. The danger is getting too greedy as we all know that any dips are temporary. Remember that JDSU has earnings next week (expected to be blow out), splits again in March, and continues to have persistent rumors regarding inclusion in the S&P 500. i don't go on margin very often, but given the opportunity...
Regarding leak of this news...I thought it was odd Friday when I heard that JDSU CEO was going to be on CNBC this morning. Usually CEO's don't give interviews so close to earnings. I guess we know why now.
Isn't it interesting that several companies introduced big news yesterday when the market was closed? Could it be that they are seeing the power shift to the individual investor?
Fasten your seat belts and put your tray tables in their upright position as we have an interesting ride ahead.

**OT** Detroit Auto show and XYBR... Went yesterday.. other than being crowded it was quite interesting as a view into future auto applications; mirrors replaced by cameras, internet in the vehicle, fuel cells, hybrids, environment, etc... heard XYBR was in use so I was "on the lookout" ... after about 2 hours ( when I was ready to leave) I spotted them at the Ford exhibit <G> ... 5 people using XYBR to collect info from people and link it directly to the net at Ford.com... ( the people looked like the Borg... all strapped up and all)... so I talked with then and was assimilated<G> .... computer was worn on the wrist ("comfortable, I got used to it real fast, and yes light")battery lasted about 2-3 hours ("less if using video) They have video recorders attached to offer images of the show as they roam ( I was live on the net yesterday)..using it "was kinda fun"... caught a lot of peoples attention.... lots of geeks wondering what was going on..

Also,, place was absolutely full of flat panel displays for info delivery, internet access, video displays, etc...

oh yuh.. lots of babes...

A faithful reporter.

LU - alert, just dropped below 51, ought to hold 50 one would think. Might be the bottom. I just bought a little more. Nothing much moving today but oil and biotechs. Oil prices ticked up. Euro markets taking that on the chin.
Look for momentum to get going again soon but right now, not.
