Interesting stats.

Some institutions loading up (presumably averaging down).

Goldman Sachs and Spears Benzak getting in real big. Very
interesting. Lots of 'em throwing in the towel though.

If they can get their expenditures under control and start
showing even penny gains quarter after quarter, the stock will
stop sliding. Especially if they can capture broad interest by
introducing some new products during the next few quarters.

Tony.

Apparently Goldman Sachs and Montgomery Asset were equally concerned
with Softquad management, the IPO syndicate managers, and shareholder
value destruction.

The inst. ownership this reply is pointing to was as of 12-31-96. It appears the Lutheran Brotherhood (nor Volpe Brown, Yorkton, Punk Ziegel...do not want to put up with this any longer nor should the Rabinses...this is now becoming a cash burn/profitability/+cash flow race...maximization of shareholder value and the essential/historical success of WebFiler eCommerce-HoTMetaL Web authoring paradigm is now an essential top priority given/reality...imminent profitability or put SoftQuad in play(.) (for everyone's sake...

Message 1259881 It also
appears the volume surge last week may even account for the remaining
CAPITAL (Ranks 1,2,4) and possibly LUTH BROS (3,5) Funds' shares...
leaving SWEBF/SKI starting from scratch with Institutional ownership
and apparently also with analyst(s) following...accordingly, SWEBF/SKI
has reached a predictable? support level reinforced with the fact
that they are likely to enter into a share repurchase program (now
only to be confirmed by SoftQuad's Board of Director's, per
management)...it may be a while before SoftQuad regains the street's
confidence after reviewing said two 13F INST ownership filings for
periods ending 12/31/96 and 09/30/97...

Good to hear from you again Jacques.
