Still from Yahoo.
Don, this is not an upgrade, but it is more than Eddelstone said for months, 12 months target price 110 usd and earnings meeting OR EXCEEDING THE 0.11 usd projected by MSDW.
Considering his disappointment in September, it is reasonable to say that this 12 target is probably the lowest he could afford, in order to avoid any surprises
Not so bad

MSDW Morning Tech Notes:
" Intel, Micron Tech, Samsung, Hyundai, NEC and Infineon announced they will together develop a high-performance advanced DRAM technology targeted for 2003 applications and beyond.

"Though the partnership doesn't include RMBS, we believe RMBS' long term product roadmap is compelling. INTC claims its technology may be included in the consortium's efforts.

"We believe INTC is committed to transitioning the PC market to Direct Rambus DRAMS over the next several years. We believe this partnership will not be a high volume opporutnity until 2005 or so. We believe RMBS has 3-5 years to gain market share and drive strong earnings results.

"We reiterate our Outperform rating and 12-month price target of $110. We expect RMBS to meet or exceed our $0.11 estimate when they report C$Q99 results on 1/18. We believe the near-term momentum for INTC's 820 chipset and RMBS-based PC's improved."
