<<SI running very slow all morning>>

When its running at all.

A lot of block trades today. Seems to be from both sides, its always interesting to watch positioning as expiration approaches. Which strike price will we hover at this time? 22 1/2 seems too low now, can we close to 25?

Interesting news on 3Com/NTOP. As always left wondering the terms of the deal. I wonder if the reason these deals are always so vague is because NTOP actually is paying with the hope of growing user base. Any comments?

What about this TRRA meeting tomorrow that Hawaii claims is jointly held by NTOP and TRRA, despite the fact it looked like a TRRA gig to me with no mention of NTOP. Any ideas?

Interesting stock reaction also. I may pick up half a position. FWIW, after a fantastic '99 I have doubled the size of my full and half positions...either had to do that or find 2x the number of companies to invest in.

IDTC block activity encouraging today with 22 blocks for 280K shares. Mostly all small 10K blocks, but all but 3 at ask or better. I'm holding off on a decision till later in the day. If it looks like a close over 24 I may bite, but gut feeling is to hold out for that 26. This TRRA gig is obviously an TRRA gig and not an NTOP gig, so whatever role NTOP plays must be small. TRRA has had such a run, wouldn't surprise me if it retraces on the news.
