How's it going...getting a laugh out of your Intel doesn't have a chance comments recently..somehow I don't think you really believe that, but whatever...you highlited some strong points for AMD in that article...the DWINDLING CASH paragraph you didn't bold however is very troubling!!!

Cory, what I was saying is that Intel doesn't stand a chance if it tries to power play and squash AMD...that comment was motivated by Intel's recent price cut for its notebook chip. And I stand by that comment.

As for the cash comment I did not highlight it since its dated.....9/30/99. Either its worsened or improved since then and we will find out soon enough.

Why do you think AMD is on sale today the day before the supposed blowout earnings announcement? I actually added some this AM hoping for a runup...what is your take? I am also assuming that the trend for Intel is no longer down!!!

AMD is pulling back because the runup on Friday was artificial due to the Intel/chipmaker rally.....had the chip rally not happened, it would have pulled back on Friday. I think AMD will run after the earnings announcement, assuming that its good.

As for Intel, the pop on Friday was due to the shorts covering....now it should pull back for a while and then make another try at the new high. If it succeeds, it will go on an uptrend. If it fails, it will fall back to where it was.
