regarding Gazarelli 96 fiasco. I did the same thing, standing at a pay phone booth in Islamorada, FL on my way to do some bonefishing. The single biggest investing mistake of my life. Second has been doing the oil service sector which is no place for amateurs like me. Between this thread, a Mechanical Investing group at Motley Fool and James B's site, things are much better now.

Market timing is difficult. Most timers could not beat S&P 500.

Oil at $28.70 and natural gas $2.39, many drillers are at 52-week new high. FSESX moved up 5.4% today.
