You may be right. Regardless, Gwenapp is gone, and this guy is now covering the PC space, including uP's.

I don't really know if he had anything to do with the Athlon award, or not. Just an observation.

Paul since you again failed to respond to my question of why intels earnings are somewhat stagnant, Since you never did graduate from Alberts school for Fools I'll help you by giving you a multipule choice question.
Was it the product slowdown from process conversion from .25 to .18. Or was it the inability of Intel fully comand upper end pricing from comming late to market with new product releases, like the coppermine stealth launch and the non existant Piii800. Or was it do to inferior product mix, heavier sales of more low end chips at lower margins.
