Murrey, if I said that I'd get a gun and shoot you in the leg if I met you [say at a Q AGM] then I dare say you would consider that undesirable. Okay, Jim Willie just says he'll smack you in the head or some such. Maybe you consider that fine. Are you happy for me to 'leave an impression' on you [with my fists or perhaps baseball bat?]. You and Mr Ed seem to be playing 'let's be on Jim's side' to get the 'language police' off his back. The apostrophes business is a joke - surely you could see that? Lots of people dislike constant foul language and terms of SI is that it not be used. People pay money to come to SI to avoid the grot they get elsewhere. If people comply with SI rules there would be no trouble. WMolloy was threatened with violence because he wrote 'TA is toast'. Some time ago, Jim Willie threatened me with violence when he misunderstood what was intended as a humorous comment, but I let it go until I realized these are habits of his. These are not 'pious posts'. Jim is highly offensive and his self-described harsh background would lead you to understand why he is like that. Nevertheless, he should learn some self-control [which he lets get out of hand too often]. Voltaire flew off the handle one time, but had the wit to apologize when he realized how objectionable his comments were. Jim thinks he is 'counter-punching'. He has an odd view of 'counter-punching'. It looks more like outright aggression to me. He would like everyone to just give in before his bully-boy tactics. He expects to slander and get away with it. He expects to threaten and have people quail. By the way, are there any USA lawyers [Jim Willie being USA resident and so is SI I believe] reading this who would like a job? I'll pay real money to sue Silicon Investor if they fail to enforce their terms of use including publishing the defamatory and threatening comments of Jim Willie. I also wish to sue 'Jim Willie' for his defamatory and threatening comments [and any other posters in the past week or so who have published defamatory comments about me]. This is not pro bono work. This is cash on delivery. Let's see if we can't clear this thread up and get it on the straight and narrow so the village can enjoy it.
