I like your QCOM play. Makes perfect $en$e to me. JDSU is beautiful, indeed, and NTAP continues to surprise even me. Today was their biggest gain in terms of points and percent, I believe. It ain't too late to buy more JDSU, imo. This King will rock for a while, a loooooong while.

Doh!> You might want to look at playing some Jul ETEK calls, since the price spread between JDSU and ETEK is greatly disproportionate at this moment, and it's likely the merger will be approved. Even if, on some off-chance it weren't approved, ETEK becomes valuable as an acquisition candidate with a >$15 billion price tag. I wouldn't be surprised to see SDLI make a bigger offer, in the same way MCI benefited from a bidding war a while back. <I bought more Feb QCOM calls today, as it bounced at 135 and has been creeping up. I'm rationalizing this as pre op. ex. manipulation and still see no reason why we won't be in the 160's at earnings.> I took the opportunity to buy Jan2002 150 leaps for 52 and change! Can you believe that?! Let's see...I wonder what the chances are for a company with a lock on CDMA and rolling out a speedy wireless connection to the Internet at the end of this year to increase by 63+ points in the next two years. Talk about duh?! What an incredible opportunity!
