I don't know why Windows does this, or how those names are chosen. I delete the whole mess every night, and like a stray cat I've fed, they're back the next morning, but not as full as they were the night before.

My guess is that they're needed, but the stuff in them isn't. I notice they do get rather full as the day wears on.
