Wonder how the average employee did...a few years ago when ETEK went public, it was a bit of a scandal that the employees got screwed (in Silicon Valley-relative terms). The CEO walked away with almost everything. Even senior staff got crumbs. If the same thing happened again, I would bet they must be punch drunk by now and there will be great morale problems...I bet the people at JDSU are treated much better on average that at ETEK. KK will have a big headache getting this disparity problem under control...either there will be large defections / retirements or hidden costs to keep good people onboard...maybe that is why the price/employee is high?
