I did it on a regular basis like once every few days or so and match the calculated balances each time. That cut down on the amount of work in any one sitting. Cyber should definitely take a queue from ETrade on this one. They have "direct statements" which automatically enters transactions for you. Have seen a few glitches but works ok, better than Penson's.

I finally finished fixing all errors last night at 2:0O AM and feel relaxed now,,but it was a royal pain in the ass.

when i first became aware of this i also went out and got msft money to see if that would be easier or fix it,, i took the money package back to the store several hours later when it started prompting me to describe each transaction from the qif file import. Maybe you can change some option to stop it from asking you that, but i couldnt find it and had over 10,000 trades i wasnt willing to describe as a security bond etc. So i ditched that one

Quicken is my sole source now and overall i like it,, but i still had to do all those fixits last night,, and PENSON needs to address the problem or advise people that they are going to have major problems after the import.
