Any options experts here?

I sold some XOM Jan 85 calls for 1 3/8 a few days ago.
This morning they were at Bid 1/2, Ask 3/4.
I put in a bid of 5/8.
The bid shown on Schwab never changed from 1/2 to 5/8 and my trade didn't execute.
I looked again a little later and it was still bid 1/2, ask 3/4. I put in a bid of 11/16.
My trade went through at 11/16. I saw the increase in volume which was exactly the amount I had just bought, but the last trade price showed 5/8!
I think I'm being sqewed, albeit only for about $30 since I was only buying 5 options. Any comments or insight?

The Phoenix has risen.

On a more whiney note...I am so tired of CS I want to dump the whole lot. Can anyone give me a reason not to (other than I should do it on Friday).
