Dorine, Microsoft says this every quarter....it is almost getting to be a joke.......the market will likely shrug off...UNLESS Microsoft using some more specific language in the conference call

On the strength of 29% growth in PC shipments from a year ago, the direct channel was able to account for 31.5% of all PCs shipped in 3Q99.
