P.S. I'm going to have to change my name <ggg> since I'm more into TA lately. It seems like fundamentals only give a rough indication of the long-term direction of a stock. Short-term, you need charts.

CNBC analyst has SII as his #1 technical pick coming up w/ OSX as well !

... well; I guess that's a good thing if the "Mo-Mo Techies" start hopping aboard.

Man, how the hell can ANYONE buy SII, or BJS here ? Last time SII was near $60 - BHI was $40+ - a near double from here... I'll take BHI here vs. SII on a % upside basis going forward.

He's (Frank Gretz) calling SII to potentially see $90 by year end technically ?!?!?! - insane..... SII.com ? I guess we should be glad the techies are loving the oilpatch here - but, $90 SII by year end ? - where the hell does it go by peak cycle 2001 ? - give me DO, FLC, PGO, BHI as the still "reasonable" valuations here. I don't see $90 SII by year end...

Slider,
****
C'Mon API's ... and $30 Crude; & if we have another couple of cold fronts in NE ? Who knows how high we can go here...

$30 Oil & $2.50 Gas with below zero New England wind chills; did we die & go to Oilpatch Heaven, or what ?
****

No API's till tomorrow due to the holiday Monday, but yes we are at least getting a preview of Oilpatch Heaven. Not there yet but I am expecting a pullback around 100 and then the chart target goes to 114 or so. I expect it to be exceeded. Timing will depend on weather API's and earnings. IMHO, if all systems are go we could run up to 99 quickly.

So, I was buying laggards first thing this AM, with proceeds from HRC/USON sales, plus a little margin to boot. Plenty of maneuvering room left.

Like I said before, I'm trading less (in the oil patch anyway) and holding more, including UFAB.

Here's to Boom2K and best of luck,

Roebear
