Presumably, nothing is happening. But you are right. Volume of this type does not happen. I went back to my old copy of Edwards & Magee and if you look at a chart, it shows a typical triangle breakout pattern to the upside. Unless we are being setup with a big fix, something is happening and it seems to be positive. This type of price movement and volume does not happen out of the blue. If anyone out there is up on the technicals, check me out. Does WTT still have that $20,000,000-was it that much-that it got from sale of part of the business? If WTT would dissolve what would be the share value to stockholders? Is someone interested for the cash? Notice, I'm asking a lot of questions. Just goes to show you how much in the dark I am. My gut feeling is to watch this thing very carefully but not to jump ship yet. There does seem to be some resistance at the 6-8 range. I really don't know where this thing is going. But we must be careful because I still think this thing can fall on its face and go out of business. What we are seeing now could be a "blowoff".

Free Advice for what it is worth:

Why not just trading? People want to make money. I have seen 100s of stocks make bigger moves with less to show than WTT.

Enjoy the freedom of not being concerned with the "why". It shouldn't make a difference, it is the price movement that counts. It took me years before I found out what WTT does, I still am not sure. Lets say it is a new product, someone buys because of it, when should they sell? The new product might be there a year or more from now, but price could be lower. If you buy on a new product, you have no reason to sell. Once you get stuck with funnymentals, you run from stock topic to stock topic swapping stories.

There will be cheerleaders and the other side coming up with some "why" for every 1/2 point move. There will be those that call company to worry them, expecting the "inside" story. They will make the company into a living entity like some do a sports team.

When the simple truth is the only good stock is the one that is moving in the direction of your trade. When you buy the story, it controls your actions. You justify going down with the stock because the story is there. It takes months if you are lucky to get back. Some came to this topic with having bought WTT at 12 on a broker's recommendation, and rode it all the way down. Price movement long ago made it a bad stock for them. ut they didn't have an objective reason to leave the stock.

So if you want to buy or sell WTT, do it on the basis of price movement, not a story. My short term guess for a target area would be 7 1/8 to 8 13/16. Take that to the bank? No, just a guess, I expected it to stop at the 4 1/4 range on this move. The move over 5 was important, it needs to stay above that area.
