IMHO the important patent is no 5,995,443.

The first 5 claims of this, if they survive any court challenge, will mean that all DDR memories are infringing.

It protects the principle of a RAM chip with input and output multiplexers routing data to/from different memory cells on each clock edge. No-one can build a DDR ram without one of those!
