>> I didn't expect a 30% sell-off

Hi, Frank. If you had done some dd you'd have seen that this type of sell off is a normal and predictable pattern for Q. It retraced to the tune of 20-25% 4 times last year, and rebounded each time to set new highs. During the declines, it never violated its 50 dma (which is currently 115), if that is any comfort.

My question is whether the 200 interday high, which lasted for a picosecond, constitutes a valid top end measurement for this current cycle. Using closing prices, Q's high was 179.3125 on 1/3/00. By my reckoning, it has retraced no more than 23% since then, is currently only 21.7% off, and on the mend.

I'll be looking to add to my position tomorrow in preparation for the quarterly earnings run and the post earnings celebration. Hope to see you at the party.
