Our semi stocks are burning white hot! Congrats gang, we have been kickin some serious a** by holding issues in this sector!

I'm still searching around for value plays and ABT looks real interesting. Any thoughts on ABT? Stock has fallen to 1997 levels. While the trend is still down, It would appear we are approaching pretty strong support levels. While this sector isn't as beat up as the oils were at the beginning of last year, they are starting to have similar formations in the charts. (Haven't followed the fundies closely on ABT, just to make that clear! PE down to 21, seems reasonable?)

Steve,
I never expected RFMD to beat earning by much, if any. They came in line as well last Q. I suggest you listen to their CC to get a better understanding of their business and why we should not expect them to beat estimate if you want to hold LT, just for the peace of mind if not anything. RFMD will start to beat estimate by a big number starting 2 quarters down when they begin to reap the benefit of their new fab capacity coming on line. If they begin to beat in the April Q, then they are ahead of expectation. The street fully expects them to start beating estimate by the July Q. That's why I will not sell RFMD until at least for 3 more Q's. If you want an instant and continuous surge in stock price, buy TQNT instead. But RFMD will outperform TQNT after next Q.
