"Well *ell-Chris Tom 8:23 p.m. CST
Seems like the aforementioned Mike of the Register has posted a bit about yours truly being
unemployed for the holidays. It wasn't all that bad, as a result I didn't have to work
through New Year's Eve because of the Y2K bug, and in the interim I got a lot of work
done and caught up on some gaming. ;) Anyway I will have a full story, hopefully with
official comments from the involved parties if they will touch this one with ten foot pole.
Anyway, I sent a few clarifications to Mike about it as I did not read it until it was up.
Anyway, if you are concerned about me, don't worry, I won't bow down to pressure from
any entity. It's just not in my nature."

panic_mob Re <<AMD Zone editor loses Dell job>>

Wow, if the story in the register is true, this is joke. The dude put AMDzone on his resume. No proof of anything leaked and he gets canned because the coppermine bug was somehow leaked.

Now there maybe a whole lot more to the story than it seems but it sure sounds like DELL HR are a bunch of total aholes.

I think I might take the time and write to DELL's HR.

<AMD Zone editor loses Dell job>

That guy was in a delicate position with Dell and AMDZone if you ask me - science guys would call it unstable equilibrium. Glad that things worked out and he got a new job.
