G'day all - hi Glenn, you sez "Gotta bet on the personal greed factor."

It is practical, if somewhat cynical <g>, approach. However, I think it is a bit more complicated than that. To begin with, the Pontikes family thus far has been doing the right things, without fleecing the shareholders. Practically every corp in the US tilts towards the management, family dynasty or not, with stock options and other incentives. So, the selfish management of any corporation, with the board in its pocket, can go about r*ping shareholders with impunity! But I don't see it here. This may be too philosophical to be a stock practitioner, but being someone who has lost a bundle in such management, I would say that is the 1st rule of investment. Back to CDO, my impression is that the young Pontikes is more in proving to the family he can maintain the family legacy - or even outdo the track record of his late father

Anyway, enough about philosophy. I agree with you that there is still not enough detail, but the downside is little. Distributed or not, CDO is a great stock to own even for its traditional core businesses. DR [Disaster Recovery] and value added services are good growth businesses in themselves. My guess is that PRISM is COVD and USIX wrapped in one.

best, Bosco
