Grace,

You may not have been reading me correctly. Or, I may have been unclear. See my message to Jay.

I'm neither thrilled with Denton (although some parts of the report did provide some structure to points we'd been discussing here previously, where none existed before), nor the way the CRTC is forcing their will on the industry players in Canada.

My reporting the Denton Paper was nothing more than presenting some relevant information about what was taking place in this sector in Canada at the time. And for that purpose, I think that it was revealing, although at the time I gave it more weight than I do now.

I wasn't giving Denton a qualitative nod, rather I was speculating several months ago about whether his work was an omen of things to come here in DC. It didn't work out that way, as it turns out.

My change of heart now on that matter is more a reflection of the recent events that have taken place wrt OA than anything else, though, since the AOL-TWX thing has taken some of the edge off of the matter for the moment.

BTW, if you continue asking questions like where does home's assets reside, and if they have any, you may need to go out and buy yourself some flame-retardant shields, for your own protection. I know a place where you can get them at a good price over in Hoboken. Let me know if you're interested.
