Paul @ $760.00 the 800's will sell faster. One can only conclude production is up suffiently to reduce price. that what happens when the company ramps up. It also means Intel will have to cut it's prices even before it can ship any to be competive with a weaker chip. this amd progress must be driving you nuts. I know it's disturbed your ability to consentrate.

Well perhaps they are having problems unloading the 800s.

Or perhaps they just made a whole lot more of them and want to sell them all with the big margins they command (even at a paltry $760).
