Here is a clarification regarding earnings...

Message 12605373

The margins represent OPERATING PROFITS!

July $625,000.00
October $1,650,000.00
January $3,350,000.00

In a word .... WOW!

Hope this helps!

Also with regard to Interest Income...

You will note interest income is becoming less and less important as it relates to percentage of earnings...

The following is interest income as a percentage of earnings!

July 78%
October 68%
January 53%

As stated numerous times... expanding margins on expanding revenues!

That is a business model!!!

And it is nice to have hundreds of millions gaining interest to fuel exponential growth!

Best to ALL!

blurb on e*trade says:
word of warning to day traders, almost half of GNET's earnings are from interest from investments.

yeah, and the other half is income from operations, .08 cents, more than 99 % of internet stocks. thats bs on e*trade i want to see what the story with that is..

If GNET was losing money, like other Nets, I bet the stock would be trading in the 180's.

I'm glad earnings were NOT .69 cents as I bet the stock would be trading a lot lower <g>
