With the DJIA leading the way, the rest of the major indexes are poised for perhaps a successful assault on their highs as well this coming week! We are optimistic about the chances of a confirmation of the Dow?s new all-time highs last week. This action would likely set up the markets for their next leg up, which could prove to be quite powerful.

It would be very dangerous if non-confirmations take place, especially with possible interest rate hikes looming in the near future and if the bond market continues its inability to mount much of a rally. We will be very closely monitoring the market?s breadth and volatility for clues to future market direction.

It should be an extremely interesting and possibly critical week or two for the markets as this time of year often is. Important clues may become evident which can set the tone for perhaps the next several weeks and even months.

For now and until things do drastically change, we remain cautiously bullish and encourage our readers to remain invested only in those stocks with superior chart patterns and solid underlying technicals. (See this week? ?Picks To Click? below.)
