Merril Lynch RAISES price target for MSFT to $127.

Also, nothing but good words from Salomon and Goldman this morning.

I didn't think it would sell off like this.
I bet it rises to $115 later today.

MSFT looks to me to be in a strong position, based on TA. Look at stochastics and money flow on this chart.

thanks.

BUY! MICROSOFT CORP (MSFT-Nasdaq) @ $116 5/8 Stop: or buy at market only after msft touches 116.625 or better. it may or may not ever get there and if it does no guarantee what your buy price will be. though it is likely to be about 116.625, it could gap up or down like it did this morning. in any event your market order will guarantee you pay retail to all the day traders you referred to in your earlier post.

Use a protective stop of $113 1/2. again a market order if microsoft trades at or below 113.5. again it could gap down and again you are selling at retail to the market markers who will get their cut.

Risk/Reward: $3 1/8 VS. $23 3/8. Today's Risk Reward Ratio: 7:1

this is pure nonsense as if you have an equal chance of getting to 140 before being stopped at 113.5 from your buy point of 116.625.

sorry but i would never follow advice like this.

regards

JH: Thanks for the URL. How are you playing it? Are you buying and holding until 140? Or do you keep daytrading it to 140?

I bought earlier and I placed another limit order at 108. I hope it gets filled. Good luck.
