DownSouth, Looks like we will have to Watch & Wait on
Rambus vs Hitachi.

Transmeta's Crusoe TM5400 (mobile internet appliance chip
700Mhz made by IBM; uses Longrun power management to
conserve power) has a DDR controller on chip. Transmeta
has this chip in production at IBM mid-2000. The Rambus
vs Hitachi on DDR patents should be a defining moment
for Rambus.
